MBTA appoints new board of directors to implement Provincial Mountain Bike Tourism Plan

The BC Mountain Bike Tourism Plan is complete and a new MBTA board of directors has been appointed to oversee its implementation. The process of developing the plan began in May 2009 involving regional stakeholder meetings across the province facilitated by Blair Baldwin of Pinnacle Consulting from Kelowna, BC. Stakeholders were instrumental in producing the plan which is both authentic in its representation of the sector and credible in terms of the quality of information.

Over the coming months, the MBTA will be seeking communities interested in participating in a new cooperative marketing program for the sector as outlined in the plan.
