About MBTA

Stakeholders & Marketing Partners

As a non-profit tourism sector association, the MBTA is committed to establishing partnership marketing initiatives that pursue shared goals, provide the best value, and achieve success. We operate on a stakeholder model, where we strive to listen carefully to stakeholders, share understanding about the marketplace, work cooperatively and invite participation from across the sector.

BECOME A STAKEHOLDER

Become a registered stakeholder with the MBTA. It’s never too late to register and it’s free. Our goal is to be representative of the mountain bike product in BC, so we’d encourage anyone who is involved (e.g. bike shops, land managers, bike clubs, tourism operators and destination marketing organizations) to join and strengthen the organization’s voice.  This will enable the MBTA to tackle key issues around developing the product in BC and assisting communities as they develop their infrastructure and trail networks.

Please download and fill in the stakeholder registration form (Word document) and return by email to info@mbta.ca.

MARKETING PARTNERS

Lift-Access Bike Parks – The MBTA works in partnership with the top lift access resort operators in the province, to market BC’s lift accessed mountain biking product. This initiative has relied on the dedication and cooperation of BC’s mountain biking resorts to jointly promote the gravity riding experience through a variety of media and promotional initiatives.

Communities with Authorized Trails – Our partner communities can be found in all regions of the province. Each partner community has a variety of authorized mountain bike trails to offer and a range of services and other activities to provide unique BC experiences to destination mountain bikers.

Partner communities and resorts manage their own content on Mountain Biking BC to ensure accuracy of information. Our current marketing partners are showcased on MountainBikingBC.ca.
